Another great African music icon has just passed away. Miriam Makeba is reported to have died last night in Italy, of heart attack. I remember Miriam Makeba for appearing in Graceland (The African Concert) alongside Paul Simon, Hugh Masekela, and my favourite South African group, Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Rest in peace Mama Afrika. God bless your soul.
