NN24 (NetworkNews24), A new 24-hour News Network

NN24 is a new 24-hour news network that is currently in a testing-transmission phase and broadcasting on the DSTV satellite platform.

From their website nn24.tv:

NN24
NN24 is a new 24-hour news channel

NN24 (NETWORKNEWS24) Limited is a next generation Nigerian media company that aims to bring high quality television news content to Nigerians and the world. NN24 has created an international Network consisting of seasoned professional reporters bringing local news from all regions of Nigeria and international news from around the globe. With a strong affiliate partnership with CNN International, primary distribution platform DStv, a news content deal with Reuters and a multi-year advertising deal with Mediacom, NN24 aspires to be the leader in the Nigerian media industry for concise and reliable television news, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

How to view:

NN24 is currently viewable on single-view DSTV decoders only. Simply press TV on your DSTV decoder remote control and move to “Public Bouquet”. NN24 is the first channel on that bouquet.

According to a recent update on their website, it appears NN24 would soon get off DStv’s public bouquet and move to another satellite platform:

To all who have watched our test transmission on the public bouquet on DStv, thank you for watching and thank you for your enthusiastic, positive and helpful comments. This was the test phase of our transmission via a digital platform. Please let us know your overall thoughts on our product. You can send us an SMS to 33325 or EMAIL using [email protected].

We are in the final stage of evaluating our service and we will report back to you on what platform we will be on.

  21. The present news on the hour talked about the 30meters high xmas tree in Lagos. The report did not say where in Lagos nor did it give full view of the tree.

We are celebrating xmas. We are also showing off the biggest tree in the region – a first for us. It would be nice to be more explicit when giving any kind of news.

    Thank you.

  29. I have issues i want NN24 to address, it has to deal with the missing DDC machines report you televised using a recorded clip from an INEC seminar your northern correspondent Adeleke Taiwo covered in abuja,i happened to be the guy in the recorded clip and it’s been embarrassing for me, for people asking me about DDC machines that was stolen in lagos, while the clip you used for the report was that of an INEC seminar held at the international conference center in abuja,i don’t work for INEC but with a company that is the technical partner to INEC on permanent voters card.Kindly attend to this issue cause it bothers me. Thanks expecting your response.

  30. The revolution has began with NN24 pleese when is NN24 going tobe avialable on satellite?
N.T.A and A.I.T are in trouble oooooh
because i can’t wait enough tobe receiving this channel on satellite because it has no tipical Nigerian media accent. i am please with this channel from what i saw with the presidential debate it was just too beautiful.very good audio and video quality .
Those young Nigerians presenters with very good dictions very positive looking and motivated . above all, that lady who look’s like ethiopean woman with a very beutiful voice, fine diction and a well polished Nigerian accent who anchor the presidential debate was just too good tobe a nigerian . her competency was overflowing she has the capacity for that job .

  31. Thank GOV.osiomhole for the good job, you are doing in edo-state,the dismiser of supid commissioner in (ESAN SOUTH WEST)was a great job ,every normal edo men and women ,will think back the time of lucky iginedion 8 good years was a weast God will bring him to his early 6fit.
