I think we could all do with taking the time to keep our selves sharp and stay authoritative on our topics. I think one thing I would add which has helped my blogging quite a bit is keeping track of a few writing sites like www.menwithpens.ca and www.writetodone.com these sites are great for keeping you in touch with the basics of producing compelling content.
