You guys are heading towards civilisation as we're heading away from it, with frequent prolonged blackouts expected to become the norm. I console myself with this passage from Roman historian Tacitus, where he says of the Britons' situation; "In their ignorance, they called this civilisation, when it was all just part of their servitude".
