You cannot receive money with a Brunei Paypal account. You can only send. See http://www.paypal.com/worldwide

Hi there…

I have problems in receiving payments with my customers through my PayPal Premium account, after selling my items on eBay.

I mean, both my PayPal & eBay account is fully activated properly, and I even went through the setup and stuff at the profile tab, but my customer can’t pay their money to my PayPal Account, and I heard that I can actually set the payment to receive it into my saving account.

Maybe there might be some settings mistakes that I’ve made during the set-up between my eBay & PayPal Account.

I’m actually from the country of Brunei, which is near to Singapore, and my account is also in Brunei too. So please some one out there who can assist me to my problems

- receiving payments through to my PayPal account
- setup my PayPal account to receive payments into my saving account
- transfer money from PayPal account to my personal savings accounts
- the link between eBay & PayPal

We can only withdraw up to $500 a day and it costs $5 per transaction. Paypal is really making a lot of money just to enable its users to withdraw money. Why can’t it be free? $5 is as good as 3 full meals for an ordinary person. Please reconsider the transfer fee and also do away with the daily limit.

You want to load your paypal account with a Visa card? All you need do is add your Visa credit, debit or prepaid card to your Paypal account and use it whenever you want to pay with Paypal.

well done to paypal! i am glad that malaysia paypal user can withdraw money using our debit, credit or prepaid credit card via visa. To answer one of our fellow malaysian, you can always go to Public Bank and open a saving account and then specifically ask them that you want a VISA DEBIT card. here you go!!

another question, i wonder if anyone know that we can load money to our paypal using visa cards? cheers

this is fine but then again where can u get hold of a prepaid visa card in Malaysia?? As far as I know eon bank and ambank have prepaid cards under the mastercard and not visa

It is good to hear that Paypal users in Malaysia can now transfer fund to their debit/credit card. Kudos to PayPal for understanding the need of their customers. However, the term and condition “The new feature will cost $5 per withdrawal and will take 5 to 7 business days to be completed.” are slow and also costly. Maybe PayPal should at very least provide an even faster processing period. 5-7 days is a long time to wait to get my money.
