Tried registering at Moneybookers today and they said due to legal restrictions, they cannot accept registration from Nigeria. It appeared on their website as I tried registering. I have been bidding for some online freelance jobs and I want my payment structure to be set in case I am lucky to win one soon. I am trying to earn extra income online to see if I can quit my day job eventually and stay home with my young children. Please I need your advise. Thank you.

Nigeria is fully intergrated to accept payment online. Merchants can accept payment via VISA, MASTERCARD, AND INTERSWITCH.

You will pay thru your nose to get enrolled by foreign agencies like 2checkout, etc to be accepting payment online. They do what they call charge back fee on any transaction in ur favour that fails. Besides, Nigeria is an international destination with attendant RISKS, so they claimed. They charge hefty enrolment fees, monthly payments and commissions.

Any solutions for Kenya? The scenerio is this: I run a development agency that develops sustainable technologies to help the poor and I am banking on charity donations from all over the world. Can anyone suggest a reliable payment system or a real (fraudfree) charity programme can can serve Kenya. I am developing my website for this project and I have a donations page I want somebody to donate and click the button DONATE. How does this work? My organisation is real, infact if you are in Nairobi you can drop into our offices along Ngong Road for a cup of Kenyan tea then we can drive to the slums to see the projects. Thank and please help.
