Ghana @ 50: How I am celebrating

Written by Oluniyi David Ajao on 5 March 2007 & has 1,346 views

Ghana, the first sub-Saharan country to gain independence, will be 50, tomorrow 6th March 2007. A lot of activities are in full gear as I blog this, to commemorate this event.

Well, how am I celebrating it? I will be at the Independence square tomorrow, to witness the National Parade. I will also take some photos at the event.

Just last week, I was at the forum organized by busyinternet – a part of cyberseries, titled: Ghana @ 50, ICTs @ Whats?

This morning, I published an article on Mobile Africa, that is the first of a series of articles about mobile Internet access in African countries. Its titled: Mobile Internet in Ghana and was first published in Mobile World magazine where I am Associate Editor (West Africa).
