Thats right. I just read this on the Vanguard news website that Zinox, a Nigerian computer assembly plant would soon extend its franchise to Ghana.
Less than five years after it pioneered the local production of computers in Nigeria, Zinox Technologies Limited, whose internationally tested and certified computer systems have been a huge market success, is set to commence offshore production beginning with Ghana in September 2006.
Why?
According to the Group Head (Brand Development & Communication), this is a strategic move to enable the company meet the increasing demand in Ghana and other neighboring countries for Zinox PCs, Laptops, Servers and UPS, while taking advantage of Ghana’s favorable production climate.
Well, my fingers are crossed.
