Audio streaming has now been enabled on Mobile Africa.
Mobile Africa site users can now listen to recorded audio of recent programmes related to mobile communications technology in Africa.
The audio recordings of the “Discussion of the Mobile Platform and the Millennium Development Goals in Ghana” held on 14 July 2005 is now available online. On this clips, you can also listen to KASAPA’s MD Mr Robert Palitz giving an insight into CDMA.
, as well as audio recording of a presentation given by David Ajao to a class at the School of Mass Communications, Virginia Commonwealth University, USA on 30 Nov 2005, over the Internet, using Skype.
The audio had to be compressed to 40kbps for easier streaming for people on low bandwidth Internet access.
Work is in progress to improve on this service by including other relevant audio recordings that listeners would find exciting.
I have listened to all the clips, and I really enjoyed them.
